Precautions for use

Before use

Before using the product, read the instructions and keep them in a safe place for future reference.

Do not expose your headphones to moisture or immerse them in water.

Battery

To ensure that your headphones maintain optimum battery life, and in the event of prolonged non-use, recharge them regularly, at least once every three months or so. Switch off battery-powered products when not in use. For optimum performance, do not use the headphones incorporating the battery in areas subject to excessive heat (above 40°C) or extreme cold (below -5°C). If you have any problems, contact your specialist dealer.

Danger

Listening to high-power headphones can damage the user's ear and lead to hearing problems (temporary or permanent deafness, ringing in the ears, tinnitus, hyperacusis).

Maintenance

The headphones do not require any special cleaning. If necessary, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use cleaning products containing solvents.

Bluetooth® mode operation

To use the headset in Bluetooth® mode, the switch must be in the ON position. When the helmet is used for the first time, pairing mode is activated automatically. To connect it to the device, access its Bluetooth® settings and connect it to the headset. Once successfully paired, the helmet is ready for use. To connect another device, activate pairing mode on the helmet by pressing the multifunction button for 4 seconds. The logo will flash and a beep will sound. Go to the Bluetooth® settings on the device to connect the headset. In free field, Bluetooth® has a range of 15 metres. Beyond this, the headset will disconnect from the source.

The different modes

To change the noise reduction mode or activate the transparency mode, press the button on the left earpiece of the headphones. A short press selects between noise reduction and transparency mode. Pressing and holding for 2 seconds changes the noise reduction mode. These modes can be changed via the application.

There are 2 noise reduction modes and a transparency mode.

  • Silent: offers the highest noise reduction.
  • Soft: reduces the deepest noises while still allowing you to hear your surroundings.
  • Transparency: allows you to hear surrounding noise and have a conversation without removing the headphones, while continuing to listen to your music.

Information

If the headphones are used without music in the DAC position, the active noise reduction function attenuates surrounding sounds. Noise reduction will work as long as there is battery power. If the ON position is used, the headphones will automatically go into standby mode after 15 minutes, which will turn off the active noise reduction. The same precautions apply to operation with and without music.
