Tips

Part 1 of 3

Security

1. The saddle

Make sure the saddle locking mechanism is properly engaged.

2. Tires

Check tire pressure: between 3.0 and 4.0 bar.

3. Battery

Before inserting the battery into the seat tube, check that it is correctly oriented. The flat side should face the front of the bike.

4. The brakes

As a reminder, the left lever controls the front brake and the right lever the rear brake.

5. Saddle height

Do not adjust the saddle beyond the warning mark on the seatpost. This is represented by a line around the tube.

Comfort

1. The seat

Generally speaking, the saddle is at the right height if your leg is straight when your heel is placed on the pedal.

2. Clothing

Remember not to wear loose-fitting clothes that could get caught in the wheels or belt.

3. Lively mode

Note that the "lively" mode requires more energy.

Maintenance

1. The battery

Remove the battery from the bike before any maintenance or cleaning operation.

2. Maintenance

We recommend regular maintenance once a year or every 2,000 km.

3. Cleaning

Use a damp cloth to clean the bike. Steam or high-pressure cleaning is not recommended. The use of a garden hose is not recommended.

4. Brake pads

Check your brake pads regularly. They wear out and need replacing.
